The man, the legend. The one that started it all.

How dare he make me feel the things I felt for him.

Shikishima.

Oh, Shikishima.

You’re my middle of the road bae. You’ve got some good qualities about you that make you interesting and relatable.

There are just more areas that you fall short. I saw the potential in you, but…

You guys know the drill, spoilers down below, folks~

This kid…

He turned out better than I thought he would. I was genuinely invested in his story and despite a few hiccups here and there, it was a pretty solid route. Rinka was also a little more tolerable this route, as the ‘Empy Inside’ is less prominently mentioned.

Still, now that I've completed all of the routes, I've gotten the distinct impression that the Good Apples side has the more compelling and interesting characters, which is a shame because all of the routes should be compelling and interesting.

It just... kinda fell short.

More in-depth thoughts and spoilers right below the cut.

The route that brought up a few more questions than it did answers. It had potential to be good as I have a small soft spot for rough sport idiots, plus, he’s got Junichi Suwabe as his voice.

So, what can possibly go wrong?

This was another bae where I meant to get someone else first, but stumbled upon this one by mistake, but decided to continue with it anyway. (re: See Okazaki from Collar x Malice)

This is the part where I’m going to get into spoiler territory, as I will be using White Mask’s real name henceforth in this review.

Final Spoiler Warning here~

Here he is, the ultimate bae of Collar x Malice, the true canon route.

I’m happy to say that I frickin’ loved this route. Like, a lot.

The calm, cool and collected Yanagi.

He’s definitely my favorite of the game, no questions asked.
As always, more in depth review below the cut, because spoilers. Major, major spoilers. I will stick more to the aspects of Yanagi himself rather than specific game spoilers, as that will be gone in more depth in the full game review, thus many more spoilers there.
For previous Baes in Review, here’s the full list.

Let’s go, guys. Last warning before the cut. This will be spoiler territory for the rest of game. This is your final spoiler warning.

Oh, this boy... this boy...

Hoo boy...

The sass master himself, Takeru Sasazuka. He is rude, crude, and doesn’t care who knows it. He should be everything that I hate in a bae, and yet... I can’t possibly bring myself to hate him. Like, maybe a little, but not as much as I want to hate him.

This should be fun.

The progression of this route was definitely a tough one, as I had to restart it, three times actually. First because of not getting enough right answers in the Q & A segments, which lead to a bad end.

Second time was because I was a dumb dumb that forgot to save her progress, and had made it all the way in Chapter 6 previously, forgot to save, and had to restart all the way back in Chapter 2 (auto skip stopped working right around mid to late Chapter 3ish, so that was fun :'D).

Third time because the save file I loaded to progress was the one that lead to the bad end I got the first time, so I had to start over AGAIN in Chapter 1, and saved every chapter from that point forward.

Sasazuka was a pain in the ass, even in the real world while I was trying to play his route.

Let it be a lesson in always saving your progress, because you never know when you’ll have to start over again. And again. And AGAIN.

...Anyway, more in-depth analysis below, because spoilers, you all know the drill.
