Bae in Review: The Ratings Scale

I based my ratings system off of JelloApocalypse's film reviews system. The system consists of whole numbers from 1 to 10, 1 being the worst and 10 being the best. My previous system on tumblr had some flaws, as I couldn't make decisive decisions about the route's overall rating, especially giving some scores with decimals and fractions, so it was kind of a big mess. With this new system, I hope to make more concrete decisions on what felt about the character and the route in general. Keep in mind that pretty much all of this is opinion-based and, though I try to be fair to everyone, there's undoubtedly gonna be some bias here and there. You might like a character I hate, and you might hate a character I like.
Just keep in mind that all of the ratings are subjective and might need to be taken with a grain of salt. Also, the images presented may give a more or less accurate representation of upcoming Bae in Review scores if they do not presently have one uploaded. Images may also be subject to change. Also note that just because I gave a character a certain rating, that doesn't mean the entire game experience is hinged on this one, solitary character's score. I could love the entire game, save for this one element, or I could hate the entire thing, with this character being it's only saving grace. These images are examples and, again, could be subject to change

1. Complete and Total Garbage

(Luca Orlem, Wizardess Heart)
It hurts to read or even think about these characters. This rating is only given to the worst of the worst. There's nothing to be gained here, and everything hurts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Not a Complete Dumpster Fire

(Alyn Crawford, Midnight Cinderella)
Still very painful, but has one or two redeeming qualities that keep them from being a 1.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Can I Have the Ending Now?

(Tei, Nameless: The One Thing You Must Recall)
Also hurts, but not as badly. This is basically when you're checking your meters/the guide to see how much further you have to sit through the garbage.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Mediocre.
(Satoru, Bad Apple Wars)
They're not horrible but you didn't exactly enjoy yourself while playing.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Average
(Ray Blackwell, Ikemen Revolution)
Yep, that was a route you just played. You didn't love it or hate them. It was just a route you played, you tell yourself. It's just actively okay.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. The First Good Rating: Slightly Above Average
(Landry, Hustle Cat)
Slightly enjoyed them, and they didn't actively waste your time, but you probably won't be picking their route up again in the near future.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7. Really Above Average

(Zen, Mystic Messenger)
A route or a character you did enjoy and would enjoy playing again, even if that re-play is in the distant future. Usually a good number for giving recommendations to people that are interested in the game, but aren't sure where to start or who to start with.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8. Good. Like, Really Good.
(Kei Okazaki, Collar x Malice)
A solid route and character. Definitely a recommend to people who want to get into the game if they are just starting out.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9. Awesome
(Nobunaga Oda, Ikemen Sengoku)
Awesome Route or an awesome character. Really engaging, and something you could recommend to others to play, even newcomers to the otome genre.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10. God-tier

(Souji Okita, Hakuoki)
Excellent route, excellent character, this is the stuff otome dreams are made of. Does something with the story telling or characters that is so noteworthy, everyone that plays otome games should see and read for this specific route or character. Still has some flaws within it, but everything else is a must see.
